Chinese whispers........or complete jibberish

Today i tried out the game "Chinese Whispers" on my 1st grade Senior High School students. Mind you they're the lower class but still you'd expect their english to be ok in some standards. So we tried very very simple sentences on them to see how theyd go. this is how it turned out:

The dog is big. = You stop you.

Today is sunny. = お宅 (otaku= house)

We like English. = Mirror, mirror, mirror hip.

WHAT THE........?!?!?!?
