THE MAMMOTH SUMMER SONIC WEEKEND- DAY Three, The Event (part 1)
Strap yourselves in again for a huge post. And this is only Part I. Well...... what can be said for day 2 other than awesome. FUCKING RRRROCKING!! It started after we all caught some beauty sleep, had brekky and left for the festival, which was.......
....here. But before we get there, we had to make sure that we were rock so.........
.....because have i mentioned yet that we were going to see this band by the end of the night?
First band up was Stone Sour. This was a recommendation from Jason and they seemed to be solid and a great start to the day. I think this band has Slipknot singer and maybe (wasnt quite sure) Queens of the Stone Age's ex bass guitarist, Nick Olivieri.
So after that we went to the Aqua Stage and had some cheeky tacos and some beer while Jason and Yuri watched some shite band somewhere.
Heineken was the only thing on tap but we ganbaru'd and drank enough of it.
.....because have i mentioned yet that we were going to see this band by the end of the night?
ROCKING!!!!
But during our lunch break we came across a small Japanese old school punk band called B-DASH. They were awesome.
and found some great T-shirts!
This guy was even dancing his heart out to some shitty Japanese girl rock band. Their voices were that high and annoying that im glad they dont have much glass arounf at rock concerts.
stay tuned....more to come!
