Golly: THE MAMMOTH SUMMER SONIC WEEKEND- DAY Three, The Event (part 2)

While we were waiting for the next band to play, Paul and I went to the goods stand and i bought this cheeky Deftones t-shirt as a momento of my time at summer sonic. Proper bo'a tells thee! There were so many fit japanese promotional girls walking around in hardly anything and dickhead here forgot to take fotos of them so sorry!

But they didnt have just music. They also had some Japanese comedians who are always on tv variety shows at the arena! This guy is hilarious. He is called Neko (cat) Hiroji.

The next band up was Zebrahead. They were awesome live and its surpirsingly the first time that i have seen them live. Ive liked them for a good while now and they are really popular over here in Japan. Even my girlfriend loves them and theyre on pretty much most karaoke song lists.

and to prove that i was actually there...

i think they were playing one of the hit songs called Anthem.

They had two bigscreens on both sides of the main stage but it didnt really matter for us gaijin as we can actually see clearly over all the short-ass japanese people.

Then had a cheeky celebratory beer after they finished......beginning to get pumped now for some band that starts with an....ummmmm...... 'M' i think

And what way to get really pumped for M than the Deftones!!!!!!!!

Mate these guys were amazing! Its about the third time ive seen them but they played a lot of their new stuff and some from white pony. i think they even played a new song somewhere along the way.
